I wanted true colours of my markers, and big enough to use as a sample to matchup to my projects. I decided on a size of 17″ x 11″, making rectangles of 1/2″ x 1/4″. I had them print it bigger, and on heavier cardstock. ![]() I took a copy of this chart to a printer. ![]() However, be aware there is an error of two YR04 which didn’t bother me. The second chart I use in my craftroom is also the same CardMonkey chart. This chart was by CardMonkey, and you can get a copy here. I would colour in the square as soon as I purchased it, and kept it up to date. The first is a copy that I kept with me when buying new Copics so I didn’t double up. I have 2 copies of this Copic Colour chart, and I use them in different ways. Although, from what I have read both styles are acceptable, and it is just personal preference. The best advice I can give is just to practice, practice, and practice some more! These markers are great fun, making your card even more personal by adding unlimited colour choices to your design! Copic Colour Charts One thing that works well for me is blending from darkest to lightest, rather than lightest to darkest. However, a word of caution… these markers have quite a learning curve to them! Be prepared to spend time learning how to properly blend with these markers. The sketch marker is also compatible with the Copic Airbrush System to give you even more creative flexibility! I love the coloured, numbered ends as it makes finding the exact colour I’m looking for easy! Another great thing about this marker is the barrel is oval, so it doesn’t roll on my table when not in use!Ĭopic markers are not cheap so I appreciate that you can buy refill ink when the marker is empty rather than throwing them away!
